Sorry guys, I know this isn’t our regularly scheduled programming, but I’m am insanely curious as to how my band runs as compared to others.

In my town, the Drum Majors conduct and lead us in parades. The president does the book work (from fundraisers, trips, and what-not).
So…is the band president a student?
Just because I'm curious...
Coming from the podunk town that I do, our band has about 50 members…
So tell me, what exactly is the function of a band president? And what do they do that a drum major doesn’t?
